When we let love lead the way, we pause, breathe and bring compassion, gratitude, and being of service into our lives.
Mindfulness is creating a present-centered awareness. When we practice mindfulness-based techniques such as controlled breathing or meditation, we shift out of a stress-success cycle into one of calm and control.
We must first connect to calm in order to bring that sense of calm into our classrooms.

In order to find calm within our lives, we can take steps to reduce the external noise, voice of fear, and judgment. Meditation acts as a practice to train our brains to shut down the stress-response and return to calm.
